Location: Remote, or if you like at the office (Kyiv)
We are looking for a middle/senior Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain our own product – Customer Interaction and Lifecycle Management software platform (It is a multilayered platform with different internal and external APIs. This platform is used as processing for the tasks of building loyalty programs. Eventually, it is modern cardless tech service).
First of all, we need a specialist who is willing to learn, think, and only after thinking knows how to design and program APIs for various interface components (from kiosks to self-service portals). Ideally, it can be involved in database engineering, and together with our tech leader, develop new products and subsystems.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Python Developer
Expertise in at least one popular Python framework, like Flask
Hands-on experience writing API
Practical work experience with DB
Deep knowledge of databases and MySQL
Minimum 2 years of work experience in designing of loaded systems
You are a self-starter who works well autonomously with a “get things done” attitude
Some of your greatest strengths are adaptivity, analysis, and critical thinking
English B1+; Ukrainian/Russian C2
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with payment systems
Familiarity with Asynchronous processes
Experience in mass mailing/messaging campaigns
Tech-savvy in various APIs
Knowledge of Payment Terminals
Responsibilities
Development of self-service systems, gas stations, parking,
System design and development
Write effective, scalable code and API
Together with our technical leader, design and program new products and subsystems
Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
Improve functionality of existing systems
Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs
