We are looking for a Financial Analyst with hands-on experience in Bookkeeping for USA business.
Please keep in mind that our US-based eCommerce companies produce electrical/electronic, household and beauty devices mostly in China and sell it on Amazon US. We need you to provide accurate and data-based information on our company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will oversee research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements.
Requirements
3 years of proven work experience as a Finance Analyst and/or Bookkeeper for US business
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework
Hands-on experience with financial forecasting, diagnosis, and information analysis
Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, and business environment
High attention to detail to do your work with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Nice to have experience with eCommerce (Amazon, Shopify)
Responsibilities
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) considering the company's goals and financial standing
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
Assemble and summarize data to structure understandable reports on financial status and risks
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis
Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to a CEO based on sound analysis
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Consult on planning new product launches and trading platforms
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Update and maintain the general ledger according to US tax law
Recording of debits and credits
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Use knowledge of local American laws to comply with reporting requirements
Optimize company's business expenses
Bookkeeping: prepare financial reports and collect invoices for our US accountant
