Financial Analyst: Bookkeeping, eCommerce (US)

Location: remote


We are looking for a Financial Analyst with hands-on experience in Bookkeeping for USA business.

Please keep in mind that our US-based eCommerce companies produce electrical/electronic, household and beauty devices mostly in China and sell it on Amazon US. We need you to provide accurate and data-based information on our company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will oversee research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements.


Requirements

  • 3 years of proven work experience as a Finance Analyst and/or Bookkeeper for US business

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications

  • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework

  • Hands-on experience with financial forecasting, diagnosis, and information analysis

  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, and business environment

  • High attention to detail to do your work with a high level of accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Nice to have experience with eCommerce (Amazon, Shopify)


Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) considering the company's goals and financial standing

  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

  • Assemble and summarize data to structure understandable reports on financial status and risks

  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis

  • Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to a CEO based on sound analysis

  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

  • Consult on planning new product launches and trading platforms

  • Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions

  • Update and maintain the general ledger according to US tax law

  • Recording of debits and credits

  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions

  • Use knowledge of local American laws to comply with reporting requirements

  • Optimize company's business expenses

  • Bookkeeping: prepare financial reports and collect invoices for our US accountant
