Are you a Subject Matter Expert in QA Automation who will spread the gospel about World best practices in QA? Would you love to help us improve our SaaS platforms/products for testing and Quality Driven Development?
Requirements:
At least 5 years as a QA Automation Engineer / QA Team Lead
Deep knowledge of QA technologies to support Quality Driven Software Development
Familiarity with best practices in test documentation management
In-depth knowledge of various SDLC and project management tools
Strong technical writing skills – ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and concepts
Thorough understanding of software engineering practices such as unit testing, source code control and change management
You are a proactive, goal-oriented individual who takes pride in what you do
Social and hustling skills – a desire to get out and meet people
Authentic belonging to QA and its power to polish the code
Strong interest and inclination towards QA Automation
Passion to inspire and educate fellow QA engineers
Ability to diagnose problems and identify solutions
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Incredibly good verbal and written English
Nice to have:
Experience in a role of Evangelist / Subject Matter Expert / Blogger / Technical Content Creator
Passion for building a QA engineers community around the World and a burning desire to invest your energy to make it better
You love to connect on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media outlets
Public speaking experience with a comfort level in front of a live audience
Diplomacy and the ability to work with a range of different people
Understanding of different cultures around the world
Community experience including organizing meetups
German is an asset
Responsibilities:
Help to create and publish technical content for blog posts, troubleshooting/FAQ, case studies, and educational videos
Cooperate with a Content Creator and Editor-in-Chief
Engage with the community via the most popular online mediums: GitHub, StackOverflow, Telegram, etc.
Take the lead in online/offline events making them best-in-class and catered towards QA engineers and developers
Be an active participant in the IT communities wherever they gather, online and offline
Provide end-user feedback to the CEO, Product Management and Engineering teams based on what you’re seeing and hearing in the community
Inspire and equip developers to use the best tools for software testing
Pursue general open-source growth opportunities and best practices, such as bug reports
Optional:
Represent our company at industry conferences and events by giving speeches, doing live demos, and interacting with attendees
Evangelize QA Automation tools at industry conferences, events, workshops, etc.
Work closely with the project manager and delivery leads to help drive and deliver security projects
Managing a network of ecosystems partners and identify new
Develop local success stories with partners and their successful customer engagements
Act as partner advocate when communicating towards developing a partnership approach across all aspects of the business
