QUALIFICATIONS:
Native speaker (US English)
Excellent academic writing
A keen eye for spotting grammatical errors and typos
Self-starter with a positive work attitude
Flexible work attitude
Computer literate: Mac, Microsoft package
Adaptable, quick learner
Team player
Good analytical skills
Able to deliver the assignment within the given deadline
Able to work remotely, using a variety of programs, such as Skype and Google docs
NICE to HAVE:
General Knowledge in eCommerce is a plus
Basic awareness of E-marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the highest level of written content, contributing to linguistic quality
Revise and edit texts produced by marketing unit
Report back to the project manager as appropriate
Correcting factual, logical, spelling, grammatical errors, as well as ensure that they are in accordance with the organization's standards
Liaise with content authors, as necessary
Provide feedback to authors regarding language issues in general
Upon request and given availability, assist the tech department with editing, proofreading, and writing, including hot content for the website
Assisting in updating/compiling marketing materials
