Treasurer (International Payments)

Location: Barcelona (centre)

Schedule: Mon–Fr, 9:00–18:00 (full weekends off)

First 2 months: on-site in Barcelona (required)

After that: remote-friendly (work from anywhere in Europe)

 

Requirements

  • You are the Pro who needs everything to balance to the cent

  • Hands-on experience with international payment systems: SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, TARGET2

  • English proficient enough for banking interfaces, business correspondence, and responding to inquiries

  • Strong payment calendar management and cash flow allocation across banks and jurisdictions

  • Hands-on experience preparing responses to bank and compliance requests

  • Experience preparing primary documents for non-resident entities

  • Knowledge of the Ukrainian language

  • AI tools proficiency is a plus

  • Precise — you double-check, because "it should be fine" isn't good enough

  • Self-sufficient — you can figure out a new banking interface or jurisdiction on your own

  • Trustworthy — company financial information stays strictly within the company

 

Responsibilities

  • You're the person the entire flow of money across jurisdictions, banks, and countries depends on

  • Execute international payments via SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, TARGET2, and other systems

  • Process payments to international suppliers and partners (non-resident entities)

  • Maintain a payment calendar — track deadlines, priorities, and account balances

  • Allocate cash flow across banks and jurisdictions

  • Prepare primary documentation for non-resident companies: invoices, credit notes, contracts, acts, and supporting documents

  • Communicate with managers regarding payment requests and approvals

  • Prepare and hand off data to local accountants

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employment at a stable, established company

  • Salary: €2,000 net (short trial period) → €2,500 net + performance bonus + 13th-month salary

  • Relocation assistance with housing in Barcelona (post-probation)
