We are seeking a PR Manager to nurture a strong industry network, increase brand awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.
You will be in charge of leading our public relations campaigns among companies and organizations mainly based in DACH countries. Our Headquarter in Koln, therefore, our mission is to provide «quality made in Germany» through our products and services.
Requirements
At least 3 years of successful experience as a PR manager in a consulting company
Proven track record designing and executing public relations campaigns at both local and international levels
Strong relationships with international business and industry media outlets
Experience in acting as a company spokesperson, comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
Experience in creating and supporting the personal brand for C-level
Willingness to learn industry domain expertise about software testing automation
Experience to develop and support brand voice and public relations strategy
Ability to explain complex topics in an easy and laconic way
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
Nice to have
Upper-intermediate German an asset
Familiarity with SaaS products and outstaff/outsource business models
Experience working as a journalist
Responsibilities
Develop and implement our public relations strategy to help grow brand awareness, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
Build efficient relationships with targeted media
Create and edit corporate communications, speeches, press releases, presentations, etc.
Become the subject matter expert on our software company brand voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across all channels and through all media interactions
Stay up to date on current PR best practices, industry trends, and innovative strategies
Coordinate all public relations activities
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis
Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
