Requirements:
At least 2−5 years of experience in a similar role
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Solid experience in plastic components design
CAD design and dimensional tolerances definition skills
Injection molding technology competences
Machine tools production process competences
QDF, FMEA… technics knowledge
Good project management skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
Inventive, independent, and proactive
Positive team player
Competitive advantage:
Knowledge of the French language
Bachelor/Master`s degree in mechanical engineering
Job Purpose:
Run technical projects regarding new product developments
Coordinates activities of various departments on new product developments
Responsibilities:
With the support of the Technical Development Team Leader, converts the Integrated Product Definition (IPD) into detailed technical specifications and requirements
Defines with the Approval and Standard Department the specific testing requirements and product performances
Reporting to Technical Development Team Leader / Product Development HUB Director
Provides guidelines to CAD Designers for product concepts and designs
Collaborates with the Purchasing Department to define specifications and target costs for outsourced components
Provide initial cost evaluations
Defines the test and the experiments to be performed on prototypes and validates the design
Prepares documentation for technical meetings with the project team
Coordinates the products and molds fine-tuning workings with Engineering Dept
Defines technical data for ERP data entry: Production Cycles, BOM, Packaging
Responsible for new product final cost accountability
Supports Marketing/Category Manager for the product launch activities, providing the required technical documentation
Goes for safety ZERO accountability
